Foster the People, the American duo famous for their infectious indie-dance vibes and the global smash “Pumped Up Kicks”, are bringing the beats back to Prague on June 26, 2025. Playing in Holešovice at SaSaZu Club, this concert marks their return to the Czech Republic for the first time in eight years.
The Grammy-nominated band was founded in 2009 by multi-instrumentalist Mark Foster in Los Angeles, and has evolved into a must-see act, blending catchy melodies with thoughtful lyrics and danceable beats. Their latest album, Paradise State of Mind — recorded last year in the legendary The Church studio in London — showcases a fresh, soulful sound that fans won’t want to miss live.
Mark Foster shares how this new chapter came about somewhat unexpectedly. After wrapping up the Sacred Hearts Club tour, he took some time to step back, focus on healing, and embrace sobriety. This reset sparked a new creative energy, leading to the deeply personal Paradise State of Mind. Recorded with longtime collaborator Paul Epworth, the album captures a mix of spirituality and raw emotion that’s perfect for today’s moment.
Their debut single “Pumped Up Kicks”, remains one of the most played indie dance songs ever, with nearly 3.5 billion streams on YouTube and Spotify.
Tickets for this long-awaited Prague show are available now on GoOut.net and range from CZK 1,090 for standing room to CZK 1,390 for balcony seating, so grab yours and get ready for a night full of indie-pop magic.
