As the summer travel season heats up, Czechia is experiencing a surge in new direct flight routes—and falling airfares to match. In just the first week of June, carriers like Croatia Airlines, Air Baltic, Condor, Etihad Airways, and Air Canada have christened new routes.

From long-haul routes to Asia and North America to key European hubs, the expanding network is giving travelers from Czechia more options than ever. Industry insiders say the growing competition at Prague’s Václav Havel Airport is already driving down ticket prices, making 2025 one of the most affordable summers for international travel yet.

Here are the different types of new routes available, and the destinations you can enjoy this summer. “Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, and Sydney are now more accessible than ever,” Josef Trejbal, head of ticket portal Letuška.cz, told Czech media outlet Hospodářské noviny.
