Imaginative learning and play
Imaginative English camps by Class Acts return this summer in Prague 3 with full-day programs led by native speakers and experienced bilingual educators. Bilingual summer camps
BASIS Prague offers bilingual summer camps for kids aged 3–12, blending creativity, play, and hands-on learning in English and Czech. STUDIO 32’s drama and theater camp runs July 14–18 for ages 9 to 14 and offers a mix of classical and alternative theater styles. Kids spend the week exploring clowning, improvisation, movement, music, and Commedia dell’Arte through games, scenes, and creative exercises. Led by experienced instructors, the camp builds confidence and collaboration. It wraps with a group performance that combines everything learned in this high-energy, hands-on week.

University-level programs
NEWTON Summer Academy, held in the Prague Congress Center, allows teens and young adults to explore big ideas. Hands-on summer activities
For four weeks in July, Park Lane’s Prague 6 campus turns into an all-day adventure for kids aged 3 to 10. The international school’s Summer holiday Activity Programme includes hands-on fun like crafts, outdoor games, cooking, and field trips – think judo, horse riding, bowling, paddleboarding, and excursions to spots like Farmapark Soběhrdy. Jingle Bells Hradčanská is running an active, outdoor-focused summer program for nursery, preschool, and elementary kids. For older teens and university students, the University of Hradec Králové offers summer programs that mix academic focus with cultural discovery. Topics range from art and language to data science and toxicology, with up to 6 ECTS credits available. Courses are hands-on and rooted in the region, allowing international students to learn, explore, and connect. A solid pick for anyone ready to dig deeper into a subject this summer.

Theater camp 'unscripted'
The Tide at the iconic Archa+ space in Prague is a five-day summer city camp for teens (12–16) exploring performance, craft, and collective creation—without scripts, stages, or “talent.” From July 28 to Aug. 1 participants dive into hands-on workshops using found objects, movement, and intuition to build something bold and unexpected. It’s not theater—it’s a space for curiosity, material play, and listening to voices we often ignore.

Full-scale model-making
Dive into full-scale model-making and architectural exploration at ARCHIP’s hands-on summer school. Over two weeks, participants will design and build a membrane foil pavilion, exploring how contemporary structures can respond to historic settings. With expert-led lectures, guided tours, and access to top research labs, this program mixes creativity with real-world testing. Central Point International School sports camp blends movement and learning for kids aged 7 to 11. Mornings are packed with fun games and team sports, while afternoons shift to hands-on STEM projects and science activities. Kids aged 4 to 6 can join a themed day camp running weekly. Families can choose one, two, or all three weeks between July 7 and 25. Space is limited.

Intensive acting studies
Prague Film School’s summer program gives students a full-on crash course in screen performance. Over four weeks, participants work through everything from audition tapes to full film scenes, learning how to move, react, and deliver on camera. The intensive, conservatory-style curriculum includes daily movement classes, acting theory, and real-time filming. It all builds to a public screening of original student films at a local cinema.
